Akhil Akkineni’s ‘Lenin’ continues to hold steady at the box office as the film entered its third weekend. After maintaining a consistent run over the past two weeks, the action drama recorded another jump in collections on Saturday. According to Sacnilk, ‘Lenin’ witnessed a healthy rise in collections on Day 16.

Day 16 collection grows by 29.3%

According to the latest box office figures, ‘Lenin’ earned Rs 53 lakhs (India net) on Day 16, registering a 29.3% increase over the previous day’s collection of Rs 41 lakhs. The film was screened across 617 shows on Saturday. With this, the film’s India net collection has reached Rs 47.76 crore, while the India gross collection stands at Rs 54.77 crore. ‘Lenin’ has collected Rs 10.75 crore overseas, taking its worldwide gross collection to Rs 65.52 crore. The film concluded its opening week with Rs 36.65 crore and added another Rs 10.17 crore during its second week.

Occupancy improves during evening shows

The Telugu version of ‘Lenin’ registered an overall occupancy of 21.46% on Day 16. The occupancy started at 13.60% during the morning shows before improving to 18% in the afternoon. Evening shows recorded 22.90%, while the highest attendance came during the night shows with 23.80% occupancy.

Akhil Akkineni opens up about ‘Agent’

Akhil Akkineni recently reflected on the failure of ‘Agent’ during an interview with Raw Talks. The actor admitted that he had realised the film was facing problems after watching its early edits. Despite recognising the issues before release, he chose to remain committed to the project.Recalling that phase, Akhil said, “Didn’t I realise it wasn’t working by the time I watched the first edit or saw the scenes? Of course I did. I had my doubts. I knew something wasn’t right, definitely before the release. I shared those concerns with people, even with some of our mutual friends.
