Mumbai Indians will face Gujarat Titans in Match 30 of IPL 2026 today at Ahmedabad. Both the teams are performing differently. The Gujarat Titans are in excellent form and aiming for their fourth consecutive win while Mumbai Indians are having a tough time since they have lost all four matches in a row.
Rohit Sharma likely to return after injury as Mumbai Indians face Gujarat Titans in a crucial IPL 2026 clash
Mumbai Indians have some injury issues as well. Rohit Sharma and Mitchell Santner were not available for the previous match due to injury concerns. Rohit Sharma injured his hamstring during the match against Royal Challengers Bengaluru. He couldn’t continue his innings during a huge run chase in that match and thus did not participate in the next match against Punjab Kings.

On the positive side, Rohit was spotted practising in the nets prior to today’s game. Speaking on the fitness front, the team’s bowling coach, Paras Mhambrey, stated that both Rohit and Santner were now fit for action. However, he did not clarify whether Rohit would feature in today’s match.
Rohit’s return will be a difficult situation for the captain. He might be forced to pick between either Quinton de Kock or Ryan Rickelton. While De Kock will get a reprieve following his hundred in the previous game, Rickelton may not due to his poor form. It will also be difficult for the captain to decide the fate of Santner as Allah Ghazanfar performed well in the last game.
