Yes. A batter can score 7 or more runs from one ball. It is very rare, but it is allowed in cricket.
How Does It Happen?
The batter hits the ball and starts running. The fielders try to throw the ball back, but the throw misses the stumps. If the ball then goes to the boundary, extra runs are added.

Can a Batter Score 8 or More Runs?
Yes. If the batters run 4 runs before the overthrow reaches the boundary, they get 8 runs. More runs are also possible, but this almost never happens.
