Singer Sonu Thukral has lodged a police complaint after controversy erupted around his recently released song Jugni, starring actress Jacqueline Fernandez. A clip from the track has been circulating on social media, allegedly showing a wardrobe malfunction involving Jacqueline.

Sonu Thukral alleges the viral clip was AI-doctored

On Friday, Sonu, who sang Jugni alongside B Praak, filed a police complaint alleging that the viral clip circulating online had been doctored using artificial intelligence. He shared a picture on Instagram of himself with a police officer while holding a copy of the complaint and wrote in the caption, “I have filed a police complaint regarding my song ‘Jugni’. The clip has also been edited using AI, and the AI-generated version of the clip is being circulated further. I will talk about it publicly soon.”

Jacqueline Fernandez yet to respond

So far, neither Jacqueline Fernandez nor the other members associated with the song have issued an official statement on the matter.

The controversy sparked strong reactions from fans.
