‘DC’ maintained its theatrical run on its 13th day, although the film witnessed another drop in its daily earnings. According to Sacnilk, the Arun Matheswaran directorial collected an estimated Rs 1.56 crore India net on Wednesday. The figure marks a 13.8% decline from the Rs 1.81 crore earned on Day 12.The film had 2,112 shows on its second Wednesday. Its latest collection has taken the India net total to Rs 60.13 crore. The India gross collection now stands at Rs 69.23 crore.
Tamil and Telugu collections
The Tamil version remained the larger contributor to the domestic total on Day 13. It recorded a net collection of Rs 1.13 crore. The Telugu version added another Rs 43 lakhs.The film’s overall occupancy in Tamil stood at 24.59%. Morning shows registered 18.92% occupancy. Afternoon shows recorded 24.77%. The evening occupancy was 17%. Night shows performed better with 31.46% occupancy.The Telugu version recorded an overall occupancy of 15.83%. Morning shows had 12.70% occupancy. Afternoon shows registered 15.10%. Evening shows stood at 9.80%. Night shows recorded 21.10%.
‘DC’ first week collection
‘DC’ had a stronger opening week before experiencing lower collections during its second week. The film finished its first seven days with Rs 41.90 crore in India net collections.On Day 6, the film earned Rs 5.25 crore from 4,715 shows. It followed that with Rs 4.15 crore on Day 7 across 4,611 shows. The second week has seen a gradual decline in daily earnings. Its worldwide gross has now moved closer to the Rs 100 crore milestone.
Worldwide box office collection
The film has earned Rs 21.50 crore from overseas markets so far. When combined with its India gross of Rs 69.23 crore, the worldwide gross collection stands at Rs 90.73 crore.‘DC’ now needs around Rs 9.27 crore more to cross the Rs 100 crore worldwide mark.
