Actor Kartik Aaryan recently suffered an injury while shooting for an action sequence for filmmaker Kabir Khan’s sports drama. The actor underwent knee surgery at a hospital in Mumbai and is recuperating at home. Posting pictures and cracking ‘break a leg’ and ‘out of service’ jokes, the actor gave fans an update that left Kabir cracking up.

Kartik Aaryan takes ‘break a leg’ too seriously
Kartik posted pictures of his injured knee, which showed him wearing a brace. Another sees the actor playing tennis, kicking high up in the air and running when his knee was better. A picture also shows him relaxing at his home with a view of the Sea Link. One funny picture reads ‘foot out of service’, and another says ‘they aren’t socks if they aren’t super!’ Another picture also shows fans wearing similar t-shirts and masks featuring his face. “Kabir sir said – Break a leg,” he joked in the caption.
Kabir seemed to think this was funny, reacting with a laughter emoji. He also wrote, “HaHaha Bhai Har baat itni seriously mat sunna karo (Brother, no need to listen to everything as seriously).” Kartik responded to him with bandaged heart and laughter emojis. “And he’s back with the captions. Get well soon!” commented one relieved fan under his post. “Caption king FRR!! Haasun yaa rooo..aap hi btaa do kyaa kru (Should I laugh or cry? You tell me),” joked another. “Ok okk!! We get Katori and Chatori picss too,” wrote another, asking for pictures of his pets.

His surgery was completed successfully, and he is now back home, resting and recovering. He will be back on set soon,” his spokesperson told India Today on Sunday. The actor has a couple of films lined up.
Last seen in Tu Meri Main Tera Main Tera Tu Meri, Kartik has a yet-to-be-titled film with filmmaker Anurag Basu and actor Sreeleela. The film has been in production since last year. He also has a creature-comedy film with Mrigdeep Singh Lamba titled Naagzilla – Naag Lok Ka Pehla Kaand. The film’s release has been postponed to 2027. It was supposed to be released for Independence Day this year.
