Winning the toss, Amritsar Soormas opted to bowl first. Their bowlers maintained discipline, making it difficult for the Ludhiana Lions batsmen to score runs. At one point, Ludhiana found themselves struggling at just 86 runs for the loss of 7 wickets.
Mayank Markande’s Exceptional Bowling
Among the bowlers for Amritsar Soormas, leg-spinner Mayank Markande played a crucial role. He bowled four overs, conceding only 17 runs while taking three wickets. The other bowlers also provided excellent support, leading to Ludhiana Lions being bowled out for 142 runs in 20 overs.

Chasing a target of 143 runs, Amritsar Soormas comfortably achieved the goal. Opener Sahaj Dhawan played brilliantly, scoring 63 runs and remaining unbeaten.
Rahul Kumar supported him well with an unbeaten 42 runs, while captain Naman Dhir contributed 29 runs. Their collective performance led Amritsar Soormas to victory by 8 wickets, securing the Sher E Punjab T20 League 2026 title.
Naman Dhir Named Player of the Tournament
For his outstanding performance throughout the tournament, Amritsar Soormas captain Naman Dhir was awarded Player of the Tournament. He scored a total of 655 runs in 10 matches, including two centuries.
