
West Indies chased down 219 runs to beat Bangladesh by five wickets and claim their second win in three games. Chris Gayle gave them a flying start with 56 off just 25 balls, while Chadwick Walton carried his bat with an unbeaten 90. Gayle and Lendl Simmons added 67 runs in the Powerplay, putting West Indies in a strong position. Walton kept the chase on track despite a few dropped catches from Bangladesh and guided his team to victory.
Earlier, Bangladesh scored 218 runs, with Rony Talukdar leading the way with 96. He missed out on a century by just four runs, while Fazle Mahmud and Mahmudullah also chipped in. Rayad Emrit took two wickets for West Indies, while Kamrul Islam Rabbi picked up three for Bangladesh and Enamul Haque Jnr claimed two. However, Bangladesh could not stop Walton, whose unbeaten knock proved the difference.
