Sourav Ganguly was appointed Delhi Capitals’ head coach on October 6, 2026, ahead of IPL 2027. His association with the franchise began in 2019, when he joined as an advisor. He later held leadership positions, including Director of Cricket for the men’s and women’s teams.

As head coach, Ganguly will oversee team strategy, training, player development and match preparation. His international captaincy and administrative experience will be important as Delhi Capitals aim to win their first IPL title.

Yuvraj Singh – Assistant Coach and Batting Coach

Yuvraj Singh was appointed assistant and batting coach of Delhi Capitals in October 2026. The former India all-rounder won the 2007 T20 World Cup and 2011 ODI World Cup and brings extensive international and IPL experience to the coaching group.
