Annadurai and M. Karunanidhi acted with her during their stage drama days. She also worked with legendary leaders and actors like M. G. Ramachandran, J. Jayalalithaa, and N. T. Rama Rao in films. Apart from them, she also acted with M. K. Stalin and the current Tamil Nadu Chief Minister, Vijay, creating a historic and unmatched record in Tamil cinema.

Manorama shared screen space with Vijay in films like ‘Rasigan’ and also acted alongside M.K. Stalin in ‘Ore Raththam,’ which Karunanidhi wrote. While she made millions of people happy through her comic and emotional acts, Manorama’s own life was full of challenges. Before entering the cinema, she worked in stage dramas where she fell in love with S.M. Ramanathan and married him against her family’s wishes. However, a report from News 18 says he later left Manorama and their newborn child. Interestingly, her father had also abandoned the family during her childhood.
