A few hours ago, as per reports, a bidder has reportedly agreed to pay a whopping $9 million at a recently held auction to dine with billionaire investor Warren Buffett and four time NBA champion Stephen Curry and his wife, Ayesha Curry.On Thursday, the weeklong auction on eBay came to an end but the identity of the bidder has not been revealed yet.The winner will be joining Warren Buffett, Stephen Curry and his wife Ayesha Curry, along with seven guests of his own choice on June 24 in Omaha, Nebraska.While neither Stephen Curry nor his wife Ayesha Curry has reacted to the news yet, the two have always remained focused on their charity foundation.

For the unversed, their foundation Eat. Learn. Play has been working for the betterment of underprivileged children and families of Oakland for close to a decade.Stephen Curry’s foundation focuses on providing nutritious food and quality education to children in Oakland.A few weeks ago, the Golden State Warriors’ star player and four time NBA champion announced that he is auctioning all the sneakers he wore at the games over the last few months after ending his decade long concert with Under Armor in November 2025.The proceeds from the sale of the sneakers which Stephen Curry wore, will be exclusively used for his foundation as it continues to make lives better in Oakland.Stephen Curry’s foundation has already earned over $1.7 million through the auction as it recently made a post that read as, “400 bidders, nearly 30 countries, 2,350 bids, and every single dollar going directly to Eat. Learn. Play., resulting in more healthy meals, books, literacy support, safe places to play, and youth sports for tens of thousands of kids across Oakland.”
