Following the Sunrisers Hyderabad’s impressive victory of 57 runs against the Rajasthan Royals, a few alterations have been made to the Orange Cap and Purple Cap rankings.
In the batting list, Heinrich Klaasen managed to score 40 runs and reclaimed the Orange Cap. Ishan Kishan played an outstanding 91-run inning and rose to second position. Meanwhile, newcomer Vaibhav Sooryavanshi was dismissed on a score of zero runs and fell below.
Regarding the bowling rankings, fresh entrants Praful Hinge and Sakib Hussain have both taken four wickets each and caught people’s attention. However, the Purple Cap remains with Prasidh Krishna of Gujarat Titans. Jofra Archer bagged two wickets and climbed back into the top ten, whereas Harsh Dubey remains in contention.
Despite their loss, the Rajasthan Royals continue to dominate the standings, although their winning streak comes to an end.
