In a recent video shared with her hair care brand, Beyoncé revealed a sweet detail about her daughter Blue Ivy and her father’s bond. The rapper recently had his locs combed out after almost 8 years.Revealing the reason behind everything, she shared in the YouTube post that “Our daughter was about 5, and she wasn’t feeling very confident about her hair at the time. When she told her father that, it inspired Jay to grow out his hair.” She also added that “We really wanted her to love and embrace every inch of her gorgeous curls.” She added that the young Blue “had no idea that her father’s hair had texture like hers.”Jay-Z was recently spotted sporting his natural hair at the third game of the 2026 NBA Finals on June 8, which was held at Madison Square Garden. Other than that, he decided to comb his hair out for his latest Philadelphia show, where he performed along with The Roots. It was also revealed that another reason for combing his hair out was the rapper’s way to pay tribute to his father, Adnis Reeves.In the video, she further revealed how Jay-Z’s hair looked while getting it combed out and called him one of her “most loyal” customers.
