Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) has become the top team after defeating Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) by scoring 147 runs in Match 23 of IPL 2026.
The chasing team RCB won comfortably after scoring 147 runs. Virat Kohli played an excellent innings by scoring 49 runs despite being unfit for the match. Rajat Patidar and Jitesh Sharma also performed well and won the game almost five overs before the match ended. It has significantly increased RCB’s run rate.
Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) were not able to score many runs and managed to make just 146 runs, which is the lowest score of the season. Rishabh Pant was unable to perform much due to his elbow injury. Mitchel Marsh scored 40 runs but couldn’t save his team. With this defeat, LSG has slipped into 7th position. The points table is very tight at the moment.
