PCB issues NOCs to players for the upcoming franchise leaguesThe Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has granted No Objection Certificates (NOCs) to Pakistani players who will participate in franchise leagues later this month, including the Global Super League, the Hundred and the Caribbean Premier League.

Pakistan players in the 2026 GSL

Among the players with NOCs, Mohammad Haris, Shahab Khan, Mohammad Naeem, Abdullah Shafique, Farhan Yousaf, Shadab Khan, Shamyl Hussain, Mehran Mumtaz, Usman Khan, Ali Shabbir, Mohammad Farooq, Mohammad Imran, Mohammad Basit and Khalil Ahmed have been cleared to take part in the 2026 Global Super League.

The six-team GSL will also feature Pakistan Super League franchise Lahore Qalandars. Barring Shadab, signed by Desert Vipers, and Haris, who will represent Guyana Amazon Warriors, the rest of the players are likely to play in the league as part of the Qalandars.

Abrar, Usman granted NOCs for the Hundred

The board has also granted NOCs to Usman Tariq and Abrar Ahmed for the entire Hundred competition. Abrar Ahmed, bought by Sunrisers Leeds in the Hundred, will miss out on Pakistan’s Test tour of West Indies, which will overlap with the hundred-ball competition.

Maaz Sadaqat, meanwhile, has been issued an NOC for the CPL, where he will represent his PSL franchise’s offshoot, the Jamaica Kingsmen. Sahibzada Farhan was earlier given clearance to take part in the CPL by the PCB, though he might miss a few games owing to his Lanka Premier League stint with Dambulla Sixers.

Schedule for overseas leagues in July-September:

Global Super League (GSL): July 23 – August 1, 2026

Lanka Premier League (LPL): July 17 – August 8, 2026

The Hundred: July 21 – August 16, 2026

Caribbean Premier League (CPL): August 7 – September 20, 2026
