While sifting through the clearance section, she pointed out the condition of one plant, noting, “This is bad. This is the baddest one right here.”Then she moved on to a different plant, assuring its life ahead. “It’s definitely a life. You can see the green on it.”
A free shopping trip
What Adelynn didn’t know was that she was in for a surprise. As soon as she approached the checkout counter, an employee approached her and asked, “Are you the one that does the dead plants on the internet?”Once the young girl confirmed her identity, the staff did the unexpected. One employee confirmed her account name to a colleague and gave a simple instruction, saying “Give them to her.”“You went viral and we saw it all. All of us saw it. So we’re gonna do anything we can to help you,” said one of the members of the staff. They gathered a selection of plants for her and soon, Adelynn ended up leaving the store without paying a penny for any of the plants she chose.“That was super, super, super cool. Didn’t make me pay even a penny,” she said, elated.
