Pakistan spinners Shadab Khan and Sufiyan Muqeem will be featuring for Antigua and Barbuda in the upcoming edition of the Caribbean Premier League (CPL), set to begin August 7.
Sufiyan and Shadab in Vitality Blast
Shadab and Sufiyan come off a decent Vitality Blast stint for Lancashire and Derbyshire, respectively.
Shadab was a force to be reckoned with in the competition as he bagged ten wickets in just six games. Besides that, he also scored 128 runs with a 177 strike rate. His best came against Derbyshire, where he grabbed three wickets while scoring 58 runs.
Sufiyan, on the other hand, hasn’t been any less. Playing in only six games for Derbyshire, the young spinner took ten wickets at an average of 19.80.

“Moeen Ali and Kusal Perera are fully available for the entire tournament and will be with the squad from day one, giving the side a settled top-order presence throughout the campaign,” the CPL shared in a statement.
“Milind Kumar and Tajinder Singh will also link up with the team at the start of the season, available for the first three matches of the campaign.
The two players will only be available for seven games, with the PCB’s four-team one-day competition likely to overlap with the start of the tournament.
“Shadab Khan and Sufiyan Muqeem will be available for seven matches during the tournament, adding proven and emerging spin options to the squad as the campaign progresses.”
