Govinda turned a Janmashtami celebration into a nostalgic evening for fans when he performed his signature dance moves at a Dahi Handi event in Thane in 2025. The actor was part of the festivities organised by Tembi Naka Mitra Mandal.The Bollywood star attended the celebration with Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister Eknath Shinde. Govinda opted for an all-black outfit for the occasion. He soon took centre stage and entertained the gathering with his energetic performance. As reported by Money Control, rain continued during the celebrations, but it did not stop Govinda from dancing. The actor performed to his popular song ‘Sona Kitna Sona Hai’. The track is from his 1997 film ‘Hero No. 1’.
