The family remembered Fiona as “a loving young girl who was smart, creative and loved to dance.” They also spoke about the place she held within their family.“She was adored by her sisters and she was deeply loved by her parents,” they said. “In fact, she was the light of our lives.” Fiona was the middle of Chad and Kim’s three daughters. Fiona’s love for dance remembered

Dance was clearly a big part of Fiona’s life, and it appeared in the memories Mabel chose to share. A source familiar with Fiona’s school community previously described her to PEOPLE as “sweet, quiet and kind” and said dance was her biggest passion. Her school and friends have also been grieving her loss.The Los Angeles County Medical Examiner later ruled Fiona’s death a suicide. The official determination came after the family’s initial statement, which did not disclose a cause of death. For Mabel, however, the Instagram tribute was not about explaining what happened.
