The Adelaide Oval Honours Board recognises outstanding individual performances at one of Australia’s most historic cricket grounds. Indian players have featured on the board through centuries and five-wicket hauls in Test cricket. Adelaide Oval has also witnessed several memorable performances by Indian batters, including Rahul Dravid, VVS Laxman, Sachin Tendulkar, Virat Kohli and Cheteshwar Pujara.
Rahul Dravid’s 233 and VVS Laxman’s 148 came during India’s famous 2003-04 Test victory at Adelaide. Sachin Tendulkar also scored a century at the venue, while Virat Kohli registered two centuries during the 2014-15 series. Cheteshwar Pujara later added a 123 in 2018, earning his place on the honours board.
Indian bowlers have also made their mark at Adelaide Oval. Kapil Dev produced an eight-wicket innings in 1985, while Anil Kumble took 5/154 and Ajit Agarkar claimed 6/41 during India’s historic four-wicket win in 2003-04.
