Later, according to a report by Free Press Journal Dhanush was seen struggling to control his emotions as he stood before Bhagyaraj’s mortal remains. Dhanush was also seen comforting the members of Bhagyaraj’s family during the last rites. He hugged them and offered his support during the difficult time.In a clip making rounds on the internet, Dhanush quietly left the funeral without speaking to the media after paying his respects. He was escorted to his car. Fans were touched after watching the videos. They expressed their sadness and remembered the close bond the actor shared with Bhagyaraj. Dhanush always had great respect for K. Bhagyaraj and often admired him as one of Tamil cinema’s finest storytellers. Although they never worked together on a full-length film, Bhagyaraj appeared in Dhanush’s directorial debut ‘Pa Paandi’ in 2017. He played the younger version of Rajkiran’s character in the film.
