A nine-year-old cricketer from England produced a rare feat during a local match by taking six wickets in six balls, leaving his team-mates, family and coaches celebrating his achievement.Rohan, who plays for Great Shelford Cricket Club’s under-nine team near Cambridge, completed the double hat-trick during a match against Histon on Sunday, BBC reported.The young bowler dismissed six batters with six successive deliveries, finishing with figures of 6 for 0. His spell helped Great Shelford secure a 26-run victory.Rohan said the celebrations after his final wicket were unforgettable.“It was very loud,” he said, as quoted by BBC, recalling how everyone cheered and ran onto the field after the final wicket.For his performance, Rohan received the match ball and was named player of the match. The youngster said he has been playing cricket for both his school team and Great Shelford.Talking about taking six wickets in six balls, he added: “It rarely ever happens.”His father, Narain, said watching his son achieve the feat on Father’s Day made the occasion even more special.“To get one wicket is a great achievement for someone so young, but wicket after wicket I was so proud,” Narain said while talking to BBC.Team coach and match umpire Vishal Gupta said he had the perfect view of the spell.“I had the best seat in the house,” Gupta said. “I took my umpire hat off and threw him up in the air with his team. Everyone was clapping about it.”
