After taking a vacation there in 2025 and posting pictures from their trip on social media, Palermo has grown to be a favorite spot for the couple. The couple’s love for the Mediterranean island will be highlighted by the celebrations, set to take place at several historic locations.

The couple was pictured boarding at Palermo’s five-star Grand Hotel Villa Igiea on Thursday, where Dua Lipa and Callum Turner are set to welcome their guests. Villa Igiea is owned by Rocco Forte, a British businessman.

The property is known for hosting international celebrities, dignitaries and high-profile weddings. According to reports, Dua Lipa and Turner also stayed there during a previous Sicilian vacation.

Venues in Dua Lipa, Callum Turner’s celebrations

La Sicilia reported that one of the post-wedding events is set to take place at the Galerie d’Art Moderne in Palermo, which is in the heart of the town. According to the outlet, the museum has blocked a 2 p.m. slot on June 5 for the newlyweds and a small circle of guests for an exclusive visit.

Post the museum gam, Italian publications claim that the festivities will continue in the Palazzo Gangi, whose opulent salons were the backdrop for the well-known ball scene in Luchino Visconti’s masterwork The Leopard.

According to Vogue, one of the venues selected for the festivities is Villa Valguarnera in Bagheria. The 18th-century Baroque estate was built for Princess Anna Gravina of Gravina and Valguarnera. The villa is surrounded by gardens and overlooks the Gulf of Palermo.

According to Italian outlets, a Roman chef with two Michelin stars is reported to be involved in curating part of the culinary offerings.

Who is set to come to the wedding?

There will reportedly be over 300 attendees, including well-known figures from the global entertainment and music industries, including singers Charli XCX and Tove Lo, as well as potentially Elton John, who worked with Dua Lipa on the 2021 song Cold Heart.

Vogue reported that Mark Ronson and Olivia Dean are also among the celebrity guests anticipated to attend various events over the weekend.

The singer reportedly wore custom Schiaparelli couture for the civil ceremony, prompting speculation about what she may choose for the Sicilian festivities. Vogue has suggested potential looks may include brands closely associated with the singer like Jacquemus, Versace and Italian fashion house GCDS.
