Actress and producer Erin Foster, whose show ‘Nobody Wants This’ is loosely inspired by her love story with music executive and investor Simon Tikhman, has seen her show rise to become one of the most popular OTT shows in recent years. With the latest season dropped online on Netflix, one of the major scenes of the proposal in the show has been going viral.Recently, Foster took to her social media account, sharing snaps from the original proposal between her and Tikhman that took place years ago.

Taking to Instagram on October 28, Foster shared glimpses of her own proposal with Tikhman, sharing photos and videos from the moment leading up to it. She recounted how the entire thing went down and how Tikhman had even created a special invitation to a supposed wedding vow renewal and never let her know what he was planning on doing.She shared in the video while showing the invitation he had created, “So about a month before he proposed, we got this invitation to a wedding vow renewal. It had attire and a schedule for the whole weekend. He never really drew attention to it.” She continued, “He said, ‘This is kind of a work thing. You’re welcome to come with me. You don’t have to; no pressure.’ But you know, I think it could be kind of romantic and nice.’”Fister also commented on how her husband never let her suspect anything, “wasn’t acting weird at all,” she added, while sharing that he also told her to get his nails done for the “big moment” with her niece.

She also added that almost everyone was in on the plan, commenting, “Meanwhile, my sister was flying to Napa with my ring from New York. So, Simon and I get to the hotel in Napa, and the front desk literally hands us an envelope with our name on it and tells us what the activities are for the weekend with the wedding, because Simon had flown up there and prepped them all to pretend that this wedding was happening.”When they arrived at the fake wedding vow renewal, she mentioned, “Meanwhile, our families are fully just hiding inside that big barn.” The video also included a clip of their actual proposal, which was taken from afar, and then it cut to the shot from the series with Kristen Bell and Adam Brody.The cast of ‘Nobody Wants This’ includes Kristen Bell, Adam Brody, Justine Lupe, Timothy Simons, and Jackie Tohn. The first season was released in 2024, and the third season was released earlier this month.
