Middle-order batter Farhan Yousaf will lead Pakistan U19 as they gear up for their multi-format England tour. Farhan, who led the side to their Asia Cup title in December last year, also led the side in the recent U19 World Cup, where they won two of their four games.
Besides Farhan, Usman Khan and Hasnain Abbas Dar will be in the batting lineup in both red-ball and white-ball games. Pakistan decided to go with as many as four pacers to match the conditions in England. Mohammad Sayyam, Abdul Subhan, Rizwanullah and Umar Zaib will form the pace attack with spinners Mohammad Huzaifa and Niqab Shafiq supporting them.
Tour begins in Arundel with red-ball clash
The series will begin with a four-day match set to be played in Arundel, the same venue where the first of the four one-day matches has also been scheduled. The teams will then travel to Guildford for the second 50-over match, followed by the remaining two games in Wormsley.
This will be the first time Pakistan U19 will play competitive cricket since their exit from the 2026 U19 ODI World Cup. Pakistan began their World Cup campaign with a defeat against England U19. Despite that, they made it to the Super Sixes by winning their next two games and were able to build momentum with a win against New Zealand U19 there. However, a loss against India U19 in the next game knocked them out of the tournament.
