Middle-order batter Fizza Fiaz will captain Pakistan U19 women as they take on South Africa, on what will be their maiden tour of Pakistan. The two teams will play each other in a five-match T20 series, set to begin on July 14.
Fizza replaces Emaan
Fizza will call the shots instead of Emaan Naseer, who has been left out of the squad altogether. The young middle-order batter scored an unbeaten 52 against bangladesh in Decmber last year to help Pakistan get home over Bangladesh.
Pakistan have made as many as six changes to the squad that faced Bangladesh. Alzoha Hammad, Barirah Saif, Hadia Mina, Mah Noor, Maham Nazakat and Zainab Khanum have all been called up while Aleesa Mukhtiar and Ayesha Riaz, besides Emaan, have been dropped from the squad.
