Full Squads and Schedule- IPL

Hardik Pandya has been picked in the India A white-ball squad for the upcoming series against Australia A in Pondicherry later this month. The tour will have two multi-day matches and three one-day games. Pandya’s selection comes after he spent time recovering from an injury.

Pandya has not played for India since the end of the IPL 2026 season. He suffered a quadriceps strain during a fitness test at the BCCI Centre of Excellence in Bengaluru. The injury kept him out of the ODI series against Afghanistan and the limited-overs games that followed. He will now look to get some match time with India A.

Padikkal and Gaikwad to Lead

Devdutt Padikkal will captain the team in the multi-day matches. Ruturaj Gaikwad will lead the white-ball side. B. Sai Sudharsan has been named vice-captain for the multi-format tour. Padikkal will be the vice-captain for the one-day matches.

Patidar Gets ODI Chance

Rajat Patidar has been included in the squad for the 50-over games. The two-time IPL-winning captain will play alongside Sudharsan and other young IPL players. The one-day squad gives several players a chance to make a strong case for the senior India team. Patidar will also be looking to make an impact.

Domestic Players Included

This multiple day team has various players who have shown their skills in the game of cricket at the domestic level. Yash Rathod, Aman Mokhade, Shams Mulani, and Kumar Kushagra are some of the players chosen. It will be good for the players to get experience through match practice. Pandya will use the series to regain his fitness.
