Just a game ago, Karachi Kings were among the top sides, with no defeats next to their name. Now, Karachi are in fifth place with a negative Net Run Rate (NRR), which is better only than Rawalpindiz. All of this came after their 159-run defeat at the hands of Zalmi.
They now meet Hyderabad Kingsmen, and given how the debutants have fared this season, Karachi can look to improve their NRR in this match and recover from the wounds inflicted by Zalmi.
Hyderabad have yet to win a PSL game, losing four out of four matches so far. They are likely to be joined by Glenn Maxwell for this game, and they would hope his presence turns their fate before they reach the business end of the group stages.
