Here's how Pakistan's itinerary after landing in West Indies looks likePakistan’s Test team have landed in West Indies as they gear up to face the side in a two-match Test series. The side will play competitive cricket after a rare break in their schedule, having last played Australia in an ODI game in early June.

Now, however, they are heading into a busy couple of months with two Test series planned, but more than that, it is the changes made ahead of these series that will attract attention. The board recalled Babar Azam as the Test captain after removing Shan Masood from the role after approximately two and a half years.

Babar will take over a struggling Pakistan side, who are currently at the foot of the World Test Championship table. Pakistan will take part in a four-day practice tour game, rounding off a preparatory phase that began with a red-ball training camp in Lahore. Following the camp, the team practised in Islamabad and Rawalpindi ahead of their departure.

Pakistan squad for West Indies Test series:

Babar Azam (c), Aamir Jamal, Abdullah Fazal, Ali Usman, Azan Awais, Imam-ul-Haq, Khurram Shahzad, Mohammad Abbas, Mohammad Ali, Mohammad Rizwan (wk), Mohammad Awais Zafar, Muhammad Ghazi Ghori (wk), Sajid Khan, Salman Ali Agha, Shan Masood and Ubaid Shah.

West Indies vs Pakistan schedule:

18-21 July: Four-day practice match

25-29 July: First Test, Brian Lara Cricket Academy, Tarouba

2-6 August: Second Test, Queen’s Park Oval, Port of Spain
