India beat New Zealand by four runs (DLS method) in the second ODI at Hnry Stadium in Wellington. The victory gave India a 2-0 lead in the five-match series. The match was reduced to 47 overs per side due to rain and a wet outfield. New Zealand were bowled out for 134 in 41 overs, with Gurnoor Brar taking four wickets for 30 runs. Kyle Jamieson and Jacob Duffy picked up three wickets each.
India lost wickets regularly but managed to stay ahead of New Zealand on the DLS method. Shreyas Iyer scored 30, while KL Rahul remained unbeaten on 26 off 38 balls.

The target was revised to 133 for a 37-over match, but further rain forced the umpires to call off the game. India won by four runs.
