Jennifer Lopez is all about embracing life’s highs and lows and taking breakups in a more positive light. In one of her latest appearances, the actress and singer opened up about her relationship history and how every breakup has been a good thing for her, one way or another.

Recently, Lopez candidly spoke about her everyday life and how things have been for her after her breakups. For context, the ‘Ain’t Your Mama’ singer has been married and divorced around 4 times.She explained during the interview that she believes breakups should be embraced. She added, “I just feel like the biggest growth spurts I’ve had emotionally, mentally, psychologically have always come from a heartbreak,” she said on an episode of ‘SubwayTakes with Kareem Rahma.’Her advice is not only related to romantic heartbreaks, but any kind of relationship that comes in between, whether it be with a friend or at work. The star revealed that she takes all of this in a positive light, and over the years, has chosen to grow as a person after every change that took place in her life.“It’s the only time you dig. You’re like, ‘What the f— happened? How do I do this? Why do I keep doing this? Or why didn’t that happen? What could I have done better?’ You change yourself”, she commented. As for people who continue to be the one who breaks things off, Lopez shared her own opinions and stated that such people do not grow up. She added, “Because if you go around your life and you’re like, you know, breaking hearts, let’s say, and you’re the one who’s like never feeling anything, you’re the loser. You’re never learning anything.”

Concluding her words, Lopez also shared that people should celebrate breakups. “We should have a party. People should say, ‘You broke up? Congratulations.’ Because one, you made a decision. Two, it was probably the best thing for everybody,” she suggested during the interview.
