Newly launched Maa Hai Na hosted by Bollywood actress Shilpa Shetty Kundra, features celebrity mothers along with their children. The show has been entertaining viewers with its fun-filled and action-packed episodes. One of the recent episodes of Maa Hai Na featured an emotional moment between Govinda’s wife Sunita Ahuja and daughter Tina Ahuja. During the episode, Sunita revealed that they would be leaving the show midway due to a family emergency. The mother-daughter duo decided to step away after Sunita’s mother fell ill. Sunita chose to put her mother’s health first and decided to step away from the show.Shilpa Shetty, who is the host of the show and also shares a close bond with Sunita announced, “Today is a bittersweet day for our Maa Hai Na family. Over the past few days, we have all become very close, which makes this moment especially difficult. I’d like to call Tina and Sunita forward. Unfortunately, they will not be able to continue their journey with us on the show. Would you like to tell us what happened?”Sunita went on to reveal the real reason behind her decision to quit the show. She shared, “My mother hasn’t been keeping well, and I share a very special bond with her. For the last three to four days, I’ve been deeply worried and emotionally disturbed. In life, we may find replacements for many things, but there can never be a replacement for a mother.”Although she had to leave the show midway, Sunita thanked the makers for the experience and said it brought her closer to Tina. She added, “I would like to thank ZEE5 for giving us this beautiful experience. One of the biggest gifts this journey has given me is the reassurance of how much Tina loves me. Ever since she read that heartfelt letter to me, I have been incredibly happy.”She added, “I am sorry that I won’t be able to continue the shoot, but my mother means everything to me. She is like God in my life, and I can leave behind everything else in the world for her.”Maa Hai Na features Urvashi Dholakia with son Kshitij, Tanya Mittal with her mother, Gulshan Tanwar aka Gullu with his mom, and Bhagyashree with her mom, amongst others.
