New Zealand Cricket (NZC) has named a 16-player New Zealand A squad for the upcoming tour of Australia. The team will play in the NT Top End T20 Series and also take part in three one-day matches.
The tour will start with the T20 tournament in Darwin from August 20 to August 30. After that, New Zealand A will play 50-over matches against South Australia, Tasmania, and Nepal.
The squad includes many players with international experience. Tim Robinson, Bevon Jacobs, Dean Foxcroft, Ben Lister, Mitch Hay, and Jayden Lennox are among the well-known names. Fast bowler Zak Gibson has received his first New Zealand A call-up after performing well in domestic cricket.
New Zealand Cricket said the tour will help young players gain experience and prepare for future international matches.
