The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has announced the squads for one of its two first-class tournaments: President’s Trophy Grade-I, which will kick off the 2026-27 domestic cricket season. Set to begin on September 12, eight teams will participate in the competition, with several capped internationals also set to be a part.
Teams and Captains
Ghani Glass, Khan Research Laboratories (KRL), Kingsmen Academy, Markhor Information Technology Solutions (MIT), Oil and Gas Development Company Limited (OGDCL), Pakistan Television (PTV), State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) and Sui Northern Gas Pipelines Limited (SNGPL) are the participating teams.
MIT Solutions and Kingsmen Academy will make their first-class debuts this season, having earned promotion in President’s Trophy Gold last season, where the two teams played the final.
Noman Ali, Iftikhar Ahmed, Tayyab Arif, Husnain Nadeem, Imam-ul-Haq, Shamyl Hussain, Mohammad Ghazi Ghori, and Shan Masood will captain the sides, which will play seven games apiece across four venues.
