India batter Pratika Rawal has joined Warwickshire Bears Women until the end of the 2026 domestic season. The club shared the news on X, previously known as Twitter. The 25-year-old set to join the squad ahead of the next round of the One Day Cup fixtures starting on Wednesday, 19 August.

Pratika Rawal will be available for selection when Warwickshire face Yorkshire in the One Day Cup at Edgbaston on Friday, August 19.
Warwickshire Bears Women Head Coach, Ali Maiden, said: “This is a fantastic signing for the team, and we’re very pleased to be able to welcome Pratika to Edgbaston.”
“We’re in a good position in the One-Day Cup table as it stands, so bringing in a player of the calibre of Pratika can only strengthen our line-up as we look to finish the season on a positive note,” she added.
The Indian opener has enjoyed a brilliant start in ODI cricket. Pratika has scored over 600 runs in her first 10 matches while averaging almost 70, making her one of the leading openers in the world. The Indian opener played a key role in India’s 2025 World Cup campaign, finishing as the tournament’s leading run-scorer with 308 runs and hitting her second ODI hundred against New Zealand in a must-win game before missing the final due to injury.
She was also part of a 2-1 ODI series win against England last year and made her Test debut this March against Australia, scoring 68 in the second innings of the Pink Ball fixture in Perth.
