Dubai Capitals have completed their four-player pre-auction signing group ahead of the ILT20 Season 5 auction. The players are Marcus Stoinis, Mustafizur Rahman, Noor Ahmad and Rovman Powell. Stoinis and Powell add all-round options, while Mustafizur Rahman and Noor Ahmad strengthen the bowling attack. Stoinis joins the Capitals as a pre-auction signing, while Mustafizur Rahman and Rovman Powell return to the squad. Noor Ahmad also joins the Capitals after playing for Desert Vipers in Season 4.
Dubai Capitals will enter the October 1 auction with a US$1.3 million purse. The auction will take place at the ICC Academy Indoors in Dubai and will feature more than 200 players from 23 countries. Players have been placed in three base-price groups of US$80,000, US$40,000 and US$10,000. Dubai Capitals will need to add 14 players to reach the minimum squad size of 18.
