Thalapathy Vijay’s ‘Jana Nayagan’ opened to a strong response at the box office, with the political action drama recording an impressive worldwide debut. As the film continues to draw audiences to theatres, actor Rakhi Sawant has showered praise on Vijay.During a recent interaction with the media, Rakhi spoke about the actor and admired the way he carries himself. Speaking about Vijay, Rakhi said, “Look at Thalapathy Vijay and everyone should be ashamed. He is doing such a great work. We should have CM and PM like him. The good work what he had done in films, he is also doing in real life (Thalapathy Vijay ko dekko! kuch toh sharam karo. CM ho toh Vijay jaisa ho, PM ho toh Vijay jaisa ho. Jo film mein karte hai, woh real life mein bhi kar rahe hai).”Meanwhile, ‘Jana Nayagan’ has started its theatrical run on a solid note. According to early estimates by Sacnilk, the film collected Rs 41 crore net in India on its opening day.The film was screened in 13,067 shows across the country on Day 1. It earned an estimated Rs 48.27 crore gross in the domestic market. Overseas territories contributed another Rs 30 crore, taking the film’s worldwide gross collection to Rs 78.27 crore on its opening day.The Tamil version emerged as the biggest contributor, collecting Rs 36.50 crore net. The Telugu version added Rs 2.75 crore, while the Hindi version contributed Rs 1.75 crore. Across all languages, the film recorded an overall occupancy of 41.6%, with Tamil Nadu remaining its strongest market.

He takes responsibility for mentoring the friend’s daughter and helps her pursue her dream of joining the Indian Army despite the trauma she has endured.The film also stars Bobby Deol, Pooja Hegde, Prakash Raj, Priyamani, and Mamitha Baiju in pivotal roles.
