Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) have announced their retained and released players ahead of the WPL 2027 auction. The defending champions have retained 13 players and released four players.
RCB have kept most of the core group that helped them win the WPL 2026 title. Captain Smriti Mandhana, wicketkeeper-batter Richa Ghosh, all-rounders Ellyse Perry, Shreyanka Patil and Nadine de Klerk, and several other key players remain with the team. The WPL 2027 auction will be held on October 28, 2026, in Kochi, while the new season will run from January 14 to February 7, 2027.
