Why Were Players Banned?

What Happened After the Bans?
Some players returned after their bans ended. Sreesanth returned to competitive cricket after his seven-year ban. Ajit Chandila also had his life ban reduced to seven years. The 2013 scandal had a major impact on the IPL. Rajasthan Royals and Chennai Super Kings were also suspended from the IPL for two seasons.
