Salman Khan’s upcoming film ‘Monster’ has reportedly found its theatrical distributor. According to a media report, a multiplex giant has picked up the all-India distribution rights for a whopping Rs 100 crore. The film, directed by Vamshi Paidipally, is set to release on Eid 2027.
Multiplex Chain reportedly buys ‘Monster’s distribution rights
A source told Bollywood Hungama that PVRInox has secured the all-India rights to the film, which is reportedly the title of SVC63. The report stated, “This is a huge deal in the modern theatrical world, where distributors are varying, putting in big monies on acquisitions. The deal structure is a refundable advance, but the leading giant in exhibition is confident of making big profits from Monster.”
A new look for Salman Khan
The report also claimed that the film’s visuals are grand and that the superstar will be seen in a “new Salman Khan” treatment. He reportedly sports multiple looks in the film. The multiplex chain is said to be confident that ‘Monster’ will pull audiences in large numbers. Another added that the distributor plans a wide release across screens on the Eid 2027 weekend. Nayanthara is the film’s co-star.
Ronit Roy and Seema Biswas join the cast?
A Pinkvilla report suggested that Ronit Roy and Seema Biswas have joined the film’s cast and have begun shooting. The report stated, “Both actors have interesting and important parts in the film. The team is currently shooting in Mumbai, and the schedule is progressing as planned.”
Salman Khan’s other projects
Apart from ‘Monster’, Salman Khan has ‘Maatrubhumi’ with Chitrangda Singh lined up for a big-screen release in 2026. The makers have not yet announced an official date.His last theatrical release was ‘Sikandar’, co-starring Rashmika Mandanna and directed by AR Murugadoss. The film came out in 2025 and did not perform well at the box office.
