A report by tech outlet WinFuture has detailed key specifications, features and price point for the upcoming series, giving users something to look forward to. The leak outlines a clear two-tier strategy from Samsung, revealing how the “Wide” model stacks up against the premium variants. As per the report, both devices are expected to be powered by Qualcomm’s flagship Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 for Galaxy processor, which is the same custom chip found in the Galaxy S26 series.

The Galaxy Z Fold 8 Wide is reported to be designed for users who want an expansive tablet-like experience without paying the extreme Ultra premium. The rumoured ‘Wide’ model is expected to feature a 5.5-inch outer cover screen with a 1972 x 1248 resolution. When opened, it may reveal a massive 7.6-inch main inner display boasting a 2448 x 1848 resolution, slightly taller than a traditional 16:10 aspect ratio, and 120HZ refresh rate.The Wide may feature a dual-camera setup on the back, consisting of a 50MP main wide lens and a 50MP ultrawide sensor. For video calls and selfies, it is reported to sport 10MP front-facing cameras on both the inside and outside screens. The phone is likely to pack a 4,800 mAh battery and support for Samsung’s faster 45W wired charging speed.It is expected to ship with 12GB of RAM across three storage configurations: 256GB, 512GB, and a massive 1TB option. The phone may be available in four youthful colorways: Graphite, Cream, Lavender and Pistachio.
