Saurashtra have announced their squad for the Ranji Trophy 2026/27 season, with Jaydev Unadkat named captain and Ravindra Jadeja included in the team. The side will aim to perform better this season after failing to reach the knockout stage in the 2025/26 competition.
The squad has 16 players, including two new names, Neel Pandya and Arth Yadav. Saurashtra have kept most of their players from last season and will look to make a strong start in the upcoming tournament. Unadkat’s experience as captain and Jadeja’s all-round skills will be important for the team.
Jaydev Unadkat to Lead Saurashtra
Jaydev Unadkat will continue as captain. He has led Saurashtra to two Ranji Trophy titles, in the 2019/20 and 2022/23 seasons. The left-arm fast bowler will lead the bowling attack and guide the team through the competition.
Ravindra Jadeja’s inclusion is another major boost for Saurashtra. He can help the team with both batting and bowling. His experience at the international level will be useful during the domestic season.
Neel Pandya and Arth Yadav are the two new players in the squad. Harvik Desai will handle wicketkeeping, while Arpit Vasavada, Chirag Jani, Prerak Mankad and Jay Gohil are among the batting options. Chetan Sakariya and Ankur Panwar will also support the bowling unit. Saurashtra have won the Ranji Trophy twice and will hope to return to the knockout stage this season.
