South Africa women’s U19 team will travel to Pakistan to play a five-match T20 series in July. While the senior women’s team has played white-ball games in Pakistan plenty of times, this will be a first for the U19 side, who will reach the country on July 10.
As confirmed by the Pakistan Cricket Board, all five games will be staged at the National Bank Stadium, Karachi. The two teams will train in Karachi from July 11-13, before the series begins on July 14.
Pakistan’s first series since December
The series will be the Pakistan women’s U19 team’s first fixture since their tour of Bangladesh last December.
Pakistan defeated Bangladesh 3-2 in the five-match T20 series. This came after they finished the Women’s U19 T20 World Cup with only one win in four games, having lost two while one game was washed out.
