National T20 Cup final will take place on June 7 at Gaddafi Stadium, Lahore, with the first ball to be bowled at 8 PM. Originally, the competition finale, between Karachi Whites and Abbottabad, was slated to be played on March 18 at Imran Khan Cricket Stadium, Peshawar.
Persistent rain postponed the game
However, persistent rain and the start of Pakistan Super League on March 26 delayed the game. In fact, the decision of the second semi-final between Lahore Whites and Abbottabad had to be taken on the basis of standings in the points table as rain washed out the game.
Both teams have made a few changes to their squads. Shadab Khan has replaced Khalid Usman as Abbottabad’s captain. Additionally, Hamid Ali and Afaq Khan have been shifted from reserves to the main squad.
While the captain of Karachi Whites remains unchanged, the team has added spinner Abrar Ahmed to the squad, along with Huzaifa Ahsan, who was previously in reserves.
