The news of Taylor Swift joining the ‘Toy Story’ franchise with an original song of her own was not enough, as fans blazed about the star at the animated film’s premiere. Swift ended up showing up in her fangirl persona as she could not control herself while meeting Tom Hanks and Tim Allen for the film’s premiere.

The animated film had its premiere in LA recently, which was attended by a lot of stars, including the one and only Taylor Swift. The singer attended the event on June 9 while wearing an adorable off-the-shoulder floral minidress, keeping her hair down in her long, signature waves.PEOPLE reported that the singer had a unique set of accessories to go along with her fit for the night. She carried a rare VHS copy of the original ‘Toy Story’ movie from 1995, which she even had the lead actors of the animated film sign!While talking to USA Today, Hanks opened up about meeting the singer at the event and how great everything was. He revealed during the interview that while he did not get the chance to get a selfie with the singer, he was able to sign her VHS tape along with Tim Allen. He added, “I told her she should have brought in the VHS machine so that we could have signed it as that could go into the Smithsonian Institute as well.”

While talking to Variety and attending a public event, he shared that the majority of the team and cast did not know that they were onboarding Taylor for the film’s soundtrack.He shared at the time that “She (Taylor Swift) actually saw an early version of the film, she requested to see it before it was finished, and she wrote the song and then asked us if we wanted it. And we said, ‘Uh, yes! Yes, we do.’ That was in February, so we’ve had to keep it a secret ever since then.”He even shared that Taylor Swift is a huge fan of the franchise, which made the collaboration even more special.
