Yash’s ‘Toxic: A fairy tale for grownups’ continued its box-office journey on its second Sunday. The movie recorded an India net collection of Rs 2.35 cr on day 12, according to Sacnilk. The latest figure came from 1,677 shows across India. With the day’s earnings added, the film’s India net collection has reached Rs 245.75 cr. Its domestic gross currently stands at Rs 293.30 cr. The movie has also maintained its presence in overseas markets. Its overseas gross collection has reached Rs 44.50 cr. This takes the worldwide gross of ‘Toxic’ to Rs 337.80 cr after 12 days.

‘Toxic’ collected Rs 2.35 Cr on its second Sunday. The figure was slightly higher than the Rs 2.28 cr reported for the previous day. The movie had earned Rs 1.75 cr on its second Friday. The second Thursday brought in Rs 4.25 cr. The film’s first-week collection stood at Rs 239.30 cr.

The Kannada version continued to account for the largest share of the film’s India net collection on day 12. It earned Rs 1.45 cr from 632 shows. The Hindi version contributed Rs 85 lakhs from 957 shows. The movie also recorded earnings from its Tamil and Telugu versions. The two Tamil entries contributed Rs 2 lakhs from 28 shows and Rs 1 lakh from 24 shows. The Telugu versions added Rs 5 lakhs from 70 shows and Rs 4 lakhs from 64 shows.
‘Toxic’ registers strong afternoon occupancy in Kannada
The Kannada version recorded 37.18% overall occupancy on Day 12. Morning shows registered 29.00% occupancy. The afternoon shows witnessed the strongest response for the Kannada version. They recorded 55.82% occupancy. Evening screenings registered 31.00%, while night shows stood at 24.64%.The Hindi version recorded 34.65% overall occupancy. Morning shows had 14.38% occupancy, while afternoon screenings reached 42.85%. Hindi evening shows recorded 30.54% occupancy.
