Yash starrer ‘Toxic: A Fairy Tale for Grown-Ups’ witnessed another dip in its theatrical earnings on Day 19. The film collected Rs 0.26 cr in India on Sunday, September 13, across 292 shows. The latest figures bring the film’s total India net collection to Rs 249.04 cr. Its domestic gross earnings have reached Rs 297.25 cr. Meanwhile, the film has earned Rs 43.50 cr in gross collections from overseas markets. Its worldwide gross now stands at Rs 340.75 cr, according to Sacnilk.

‘Toxic’ sees another drop on Day 19

The third Sunday collection represents a 21.2% decline from the previous day’s business. ‘Toxic’ had earned Rs 33 lakhs on Saturday, September 12.The film’s third Friday collection stood at Rs 21 lakhs, screened across 274 shows that day, with an overall occupancy of 22.9%. On the following day, the show count rose to 311. The occupancy also improved to 29.0%. However, the Sunday figures remained lower despite the weekend. The Yash starrer registered 25.7% overall occupancy across 292 shows on Day 19.

Yash starrer collected Rs 239.30 cr in Week 1

‘Toxic’ enjoyed its strongest domestic run during its opening week. The film accumulated Rs 239.30 cr in India net collections during Week 1. Its second week added Rs 8.94 cr to the overall tally. This brings the combined India net earnings from the first two weeks to Rs 248.24 cr.Coming to the third week, the film collected Rs 21 lakhs on Friday. It followed that with Rs 33 lakhs on Saturday and Rs 26 lakhs on Sunday.

Kannada version contributes most on Day 19

The Kannada version accounted for most of the film’s domestic earnings on its 19th day. It collected Rs 23 lakhs from 236 shows. The version recorded 21.4% overall occupancy. The Hindi version contributed Rs 3 lakhs from 56 shows. Its overall occupancy was considerably higher at 43.6%.The Kannada 2D version recorded 13.57% overall occupancy. Morning shows registered 8.23%, while afternoon screenings recorded 16.85%. Evening occupancy stood at 7.85%. Night shows recorded 13.00%.For the Hindi 2D version, the overall occupancy stood at 16.55%. Morning shows recorded 3.85%, while afternoon screenings registered 7.54%. Evening occupancy was 6.08%. Night shows recorded 9.62%.
