Years after the film’s release, Urmila Matondkar revealed that she was so captivated by Aamir’s performance that she felt compelled to write him a personal letter, long before audiences and critics began showering him with praise.Recalling the incident during her appearance on Dance Deewane 3 in 2021, Urmila shared that the admiration came while she was dubbing for the film. “Very few people know that when I was dubbing for ‘Rangeela’, I watched Aamir’s performance and I was stunned. I wrote him a letter in which I wrote, ‘You’ll get many letters after this performance and you’ll get awards as well. But this will be the first fan letter you’ll get.‘”

About Aamir Khan’s family

Aamir Khan belongs to one of Bollywood’s well-known film families. Born to producer Tahir Hussain and Zeenat Hussain, he is the nephew of legendary filmmaker Nasir Hussain and the brother of actor Faisal Khan.
