The wait is finally over for Kunal Kemmu fans. The makers of his upcoming spy comedy ‘Vibe’ have unveiled the film’s trailer following the positive response to its teaser. Written and directed by Kemmu, the film stars Sparsh Shrivastava in a key role, alongside Preity G Zinta, Vanshika Dhir, Yashpal Sharma and Dinesh Lal Yadav.
Kunal Kemmu returns to ‘Hardik’ mode
The trailer introduces Kunal Kemmu as Hardik and Sparsh Shrivastava as Bugs, two ordinary friends who unexpectedly find themselves at the centre of a dangerous mission when the country faces a major threat. Clearly out of their depth and far from prepared for the chaos ahead, the duo is pulled into the mission by Madam H, played by Preity G Zinta in a fresh action-comedy avatar. Adding an interesting layer to the trailer is Kemmu’s character name. This isn’t the first time the actor has played a character called Hardik. He previously portrayed the same-named character in ‘Go Goa Gone’, the 2013 zombie comedy that has since attained cult status.

Talking about the film, Kemmu said, “With VIBE, I wanted to make a no-holds-barred entertainer that audiences can watch and enjoy in cinemas with family or friends or even on their own. It’s got everything I love about movies—rib-tickling comedy, high-octane action, cutesy romance, buzzing music, and so much more.”He also opened up about the comic premise at the heart of the film. “For me, the comedy comes from watching ordinary people find themselves in the middle of chaos that is completely beyond their control. Playing one of those characters while also writing, directing, and producing the film meant constantly shifting between different versions of the same madness.”Kemmu further praised his co-stars for bringing their own energy to the project. “Preity, Sparsh, Vanshika, Yashpal, Dinesh, and the rest of the cast each brought something so distinct to the table that the dynamics only became more fun as we went along. It’s a film packed with chases, danger, confusion, friendship, and a lot of bad decisions, which is probably a pretty accurate description of why I enjoyed making it so much.“
