Vismaya Mohanlal is set to take on the lead role in a new Malayalam film directed by Arun Bose. The project follows her acting debut in ‘Thudakkam’. The makers of Vismaya’s upcoming film also shared an announcement poster featuring the actress.
Arun Bose teams up with Vismaya Mohanlal
Arun Bose began his directorial career with the romantic drama ‘Luca’, starring Tovino Thomas in the lead, and later directed ‘Marivillin Gopurangal’ and ‘Mindiyum Paranjum’. His latest project brings him together with Vismaya Mohanlal for her second major acting assignment.The makers expect to begin production shortly. A pooja ceremony will be conducted before the shooting commences.
Ratheena , Suhas and Sharfu handle the writing
The screenplay brings together Ratheena, Suhas, and Sharfu. Ratheena has directed films including ‘Puzhu’ and ‘Paathirathri’. Suhas and Sharfu are a writing duo known for several Malayalam films. Their credits include ‘Varathan’, ‘Virus’, and ‘Rifle Club’.
Samuel Henry heads the technical crew
The upcoming film has an extensive technical team attached to the project. Samuel Henry will serve as the cinematographer, while Mahesh Bhuvanend will handle the editing.Hesham Abdul Wahab has been brought on board as the music director. Ashik S will serve as the production designer, with Sameera Saneesh handling the costumes. Sreenath P. S. is the executive producer, while Saji C Joseph is the production controller. Yellowtooths Publicity Designs will handle publicity design for the project. Shenuga, Shegna, and Sherga are jointly producing the film under S Cube Films.
Shooting to commence soon
The production is scheduled to begin soon with a pooja ceremony. Filming will commence following the formal launch of the project. The makers are yet to reveal further details about the film’s story.
